About Us
THE 2010 CONFERENCE IS A JOINT COLLABORATION
East Rock Institute
The East Rock Institute, founded in 1952, is the oldest organization in the United States with a mission to promote broader understanding of Korean culture through research, learning and service. It houses the largest collection of original research material on Korea and the Korean diaspora outside of Korea.
East Rock Institute’s Young Professionals Group, NamMae, is a network of leaders across disciplines and geographies with an interest in exploring the challenges of living in an increasingly multicultural world, especially as someone with a connection to Korea either by birth, marriage, adoption or choice. Individually and collectively, our goal is to serve global communities through authentic leadership.
Korea Caucus at Harvard Kennedy School
The Korea Caucus exists to promote and facilitate better understanding of Korea and Korean culture within the Harvard Kennedy School (HKS) community and beyond, to build constructive relationships among its members, and to serve as a support network for those including, but not limited to, Korean-descent, Korean-speaking students and fellows along with other HKS students, alumni, and affiliates interested in Korea.
Asian Coalition for Education at Harvard Graduate School of Education
The Asian Coalition for Education recognizes the need to address issues of education amongst students of Asian descent. The purpose of ACE is to serve the local Asian/Asian-American community, to support and develop as a community within HGSE, and to raise awareness of Asian/Asian-American issues in education.
